About Microscopic Haematology
Microscopic Haematology is an invaluable aid for professional scientists and students in diagnostic haematology laboratories and teaching institutions. Uniquely designed for use beside the microscope, this atlas describes the subtle changes which differentiate and allow recognition of haemopoietic cells during normal development and then presents in full colour the features which lead to the diagnosis of blood disorders. All common and virtually all rare disorders are magnificently portrayed.

'The strength of this one is the high quality of the photomicrographs... Overall, this is a compact, well illustrated book which should be useful as a bench book for students and for laboratory scientists.' - B.J. Bain, Clinical Laboratory Haematology
'Comprehensive, detailed and current...ideal for haematology students and registrars as well as being invaluable for professional scientists...' - N. Woodland, Coordinator of Haematology, University of Technology, Sydney
The second edition includes a section on paediatric haematology. Descriptions of neoplastic diseases of the blood are based on the WHO classification, and appropriate cytogenetic and immunophenotype findings in the malignant disorders are included.
'This is one of the best annotated microscopic atlases for disorders detected in the peripheral blood or bone marrow that I've encountered to date. Its small size and read portability make it that much more appealing. Get it! - 5 stars!' - Doody's Publishing Review
